So far away - all alone
So Far Away started out in 2005 and became quite well known all over Europe by playing numerous energetic live shows all over Germany. “All Alone” is So Far Always Debut Release. It was supposed to come out earlier, but it was continuously postponed by other labels until Guideline finally released it. “All Alone” features 5 songs of modern hardcore in the vein of bands like Stretch Armstrong or Killing the Dream, I like the mix of melodies, mosh and fast parts, this five-piece delivers, a lot. I especially dig the parts on “All Alone” that feature clean sung vocal parts. To me there could have been more songs on this record, because it’s total playtime is only about 12 minutes. Other than that this record is really good, in my eyes, and should be appreciated by most people who are into current modern hardcore bands.
